Kruti started as a project in the Self Expression and Leadership Program (SELP) of Landmark Education in May 2006. In its years of inception, the sole aim of Kruti was to create an environment of fun and joy for the children in the financially underprivileged section of the Gurappanpalya slum in Bangalore. The fun and creativity theme of Kruti attracted a lot of like minded friends and colleagues who were instrumental in making Kruti happen.
